What was your religious background?
 My mother was a spiritualist and my father, a Buddhist. I grew up in that environment, attended the two temples. But I was very young. Had no preference for one or the other.

What do you attribute the appearance of your religious vocation?
 In 2004, when my second son was born, Globo said that they were looking for a new Globeleza and  would I do one more year for the Carnival of 2005. I was 10 pounds overweight and have committed foolishness. I had liposuction, implants placed.I lost 10 pounds in just two months.  And in the end I was replaced It was very traumatic, and a huge disrespect to me and especially to Hans, after fourteen years of work. I fell into deep depression. I had the world at my feet and the next day, had nothing.

And that religion seemed a way out?

 My great example of life has always been (a gospel singer) Aline Barros, who has an impressive personal brilliance.  I was inspired by her to join a consortium of evangelical Christians from Globo, which meet near the station.  It was there that I found God.

How was this meeting?

I already knew God. but it was something superficial. The other day my son asked Hans if he knew the Mike Tyson.  And Hans replied that only on TV. My relationship with God was more or less yhe same When I came to this meeting, I had a real encounter. . I cried for an hour and a half.  From that moment, I never separated myself from Him and today I am happier, I have another vision of life.

In that vision is different?

 If I was not in the presence of the Lord, today would still be looking for something to fill the void left by Globeleza.  It was as if at that moment I was a child and Globo had taken the lollipop out of my hand.

What message do you wish to spend in their testimonies?

 The first thing is love. Then comes the respect for others, family, marriage. / A primeira coisa é o amor.Em seguida vem o respeito ao próximo, à família, ao casamento.

You write your testimony or speak off the cuff?

Go with a basic guide. But by the time I choose the words. I speak about my experience of life.  I came from a poor family, I had money and fame, but none filled the void that was inside of me. . And tell you how I am today.

 You miss the Carnival?

No. I stopped parading because I had lived all as Globeleza.  with fantasy. I have lived all.  Now I'm in another phase, just want to enjoy the childhood of my children.  Carnival is a feast of meat, a feast of the world.  The people there are sinning.

You sinned when he appeared on the stickers and paraded with the body covered only with paint and glitter?

Yes, but I was not in the presence of the Lord, had the knowledge I have today.

What are your plans for the future?

The future belongs to God.  But I want to write a book with my testimony and my life story.
